IT Infrastructure Specialist - Workplace

Description The IT Infrastructure Specialist - Workplace consults application and infrastructure development projects with regard to workplace (client and mobility) Infrastructure issues and operational concepts, creates solutions and implements them. - Systems Engineering and operational support on 3rd Level with focus on workplace related components and services. - Analyzes and specifies technical requirements for infrastructure like client hardware. - Consults regarding existing IT services/components. - Performs technical feasibility checks. - Designs global infrastructure concepts and solutions. - Defines global operational concepts. Implements, tests and documents infrastructure concepts and solutions. - Estimates and calculates costs depending on service-components. - Contributes to System Architecture regarding infrastructure and operations aspects. - Infrastructure Lifecycle Management for integrated infrastructure components. - Technical capacity, security and performance management. - Automation of administrative system engineering tasks. - Project and/or work-package lead for infrastructure projects. - Observing technology trends and upcoming solutions. - Contribution to global workplace standardizations. Qualifications - Education: University Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Informatics or equivalent higher education. - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT. - Language skills: fluent English. Polish is a must. - Knowledge in base technologies with focus on workplace related technologies (like client hardware or mobility hardware). - Specific know-how regarding operating system and hardware certification. - Realization/implementation of IT solutions Self-Initiative, high flexibility, high reliability in delivering results.
